In-person WoW: Forever celebration set for Irvine
Blizzard is hosting a special community event centered on its upcoming release, WoW: Forever: a poster signing at the Irvine Improv. The publisher says attendees will be able to meet members of the development team, connect with other players, and celebrate the game ahead of launch.
For MacGaming.com readers, this is chiefly an in-person fan event rather than a platform announcement. Blizzard’s post focuses on the gathering itself and the lead-up to release, and does not include any new details about macOS or Apple Silicon support.
What Blizzard says you can expect
According to Blizzard, the event is built around three things:
1) Meeting developers behind the game.
2) Spending time with fellow adventurers in the community.
3) Marking the countdown to the upcoming launch.
As with most limited-capacity signings, availability and timing will likely hinge on venue rules and ticketing, so anyone considering a trip should verify the latest details through the official event information.
Release timing: November 4, 2026
Blizzard attributes the release date for WoW: Forever to November 4, 2026. The company’s announcement positions this signing as part of the broader launch celebration.
Notably, the announcement provided to us is event-focused and does not expand on platforms, system requirements, or Mac-specific compatibility. We’ll keep an eye out for separate technical details if Blizzard publishes them closer to launch.
